Reminders: - A Papa John's pizza night form has been sent home.  Highlights from today: - We started our day with a sight word scramble and then created sentences that included sight words and adjectives.  - We did a math lesson and math centres today!  Reminders:  - Report Cards are available for viewing on your mycbe account.  Highlights from today: - We practiced filling in sentences with adjectives and then made our own sentences that contained adjectives.  - Ask me what literacy centres I did today! - We talked about our mental math strategies today and we practiced making 10. Ask me how I can solve problems like 7+5 - We did a science experiment. Ask me what I learned about sound being transferred through string. 

 Reminders: - Please continue to dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We like to go outside for learning!  Highlights from today: - We did Field Study Friday. We made a sound map for natural and artificial sounds. Ask me what I heard! - We talked about how sounds travel. Ask me the four ways I know and an example of each way!  - We did phonics practice!!! - We left our room nice and clean for Monday!

 Highlights from today: We did a phonics lesson on the graphemes aw, au, augh and talked about how it makes the /aw/ sound but can hard to hear the difference from a short o sound.  We went to Maker Space and tried to create artificial things that mimic a natural sound.  Ask me what literacy centres I did today!  Ask me what we did in gym.
